Show #51 - It's a mess!

After two single-theme episodes (that one with all the 'Dark Knight Rises' negativity and then that other one about the kid's book), your two favorite Cam Bradys are back talking about whatever pops into their addled, sleep-deprived heads. This show is particularly exciting because one of our listeners, a man who learned everything he knows about the craft of screenwriting from Little Snack episode #8 "How to Write a Politically Themed Comedy Screenplay", had a film he co-wrote released into thousands of theaters this past weekend. The 'Lith and the Trap are going to discuss how much Little Snack wisdom occasional guest podcaster Baby Hands absorbed to create 'The Campaign'. (Spoiler alert: not much because it's actually great.) ALSO DISCUSSED: the father-son dynamic between the Hugginses, inappropriate usage of the name 'Brian Cox', the three moments that created an inescapable vacuum of comedic perfection in the infamous baby-punching scene, whether the film is Cam's or Marty's, the NBC show 'Grimm', why networks so rarely put out quality programming, the relative low quality of most first seasons, more hatin' on 'Lost', why BearTrap stopped watching 'Smallville', why 'Breaking Bad' is so good, why Brian Cranston isn't a household name, plot holes in 'The Dark Knight', Nolan the Illusionist, Joker the planner, black blood in the 'Hit and Run' trailer and what it might mean for cinema, who was blown away by the 'Life of Pi' clip and trailer, and why the podcasters are both worried about 'Cloud Atlas' despite its amazing trailer. Click, friends, and enjoy yourselves.
