Two years of interminable campaigning is over. For 24 months America was force-fed an unhealthy buffet of book-hawking charlatans posing as presidential candidates, creepy sprint-to-the-right primary debates, sad primaries, Romney inevitability, VP speculation, hidden video gaffes, and exhaustive presidential debate postmortems.
It was all over in a blink, wasn't it?
Last night, Barack Obama's election to a second term showed definitively a) which candidate had the broadest appeal, and b) which pollsters know what they're doing. (Spoiler: Gallup's not one of them.) The 'Lith and the Trap watched it all go down last night and discuss what happened and what it means in this episode of A Little Snack.
