Listen as Monolith and Bear Trap dance like an organ grinder’s monkey to the tune set by a single listener. We are podcast whores and we’ve never denied that. First and foremost, the Steve Jobs departure is discussed in a very special Apple News segment. Then, Monolith goes on and on about how terrified he was by the “East Coast MegaQuake” (his words), we respond to a response from our response regarding “Rise of the Planet of the Apes’, and we watch and make considered flash judgments regarding trailers for ‘Ghost Rider 2’ and ‘The Lady in Black’.     Also, comparing Jack Reacher to Sherlock Holmes....really Crane? Terrible.

    Heya Hinesy -- thanks for listening.

    Terrible?!?! No way man. I totally stand by the Sherlock Holmes comparison and am a little surprised you're not on-board. I would say the two characters, as written, are unarguably on the same level of intelligence. Sherlock's got all the erudition and the classical education that helps him do his job in Victorian England, and Reacher has all the street smarts, brawn, and brutality he needs to help him do his job in 21st century America. Just because Reacher doesn't have the pipe or deerstalker hat, doesn't mean he's not Sherlock's modern American heir.

    It's going to take me a little while to get past the fact that you guys made no mention of the fact Ghost Rider was literally PISSING FIRE at the end of that trailer.

    2 things:

    1) you forgot to mention that while I was OK with Cruise as Lestat, its because Lestat was about charm..not being tall, which was the out roar.

    Reacher is all about the physicality of the character.

    2) Superman's "new" look sans red tights, its actually being called on by DC, who is rebooting their entire universe. When the Superman reboot drops this year...you will see a similar costume, sans red tights.
