Particularly if you're having either Kevin Smith or anyone associated with a Twilight movie over for turkey. Could get awkward. For 24 months America was force-fed an unhealthy buffet of book-hawking charlatans posing as presidential candidates, creepy sprint-to-the-right primary debates, sad primaries, Romney inevitability, VP speculation, hidden video gaffes, and exhaustive presidential debate postmortems. 

It was all over in a blink, wasn't it? 

Last night, Barack Obama's election to a second term showed definitively a) which candidate had the broadest appeal, and b) which pollsters know what they're doing. (Spoiler: Gallup's not one of them.) The 'Lith and the Trap watched it all go down last night and discuss what happened and what it means in this episode of A Little Snack. After giving their long-suffering listeners a week's reprieve from witless podcasting, Monolith and Bear Trap are back to abuse your eardrums. Its just the sort of thing they do. As summer makes its inexorable turn to fall, Apple fanboys' thoughts turn to new iPhones. In this episode of the Little Snack, a very nearly substantive discussion of Apple's big day and the reveal of the long-awaited (too long?) iPhone 5 breaks out. Also talked about: other things that are, of course, more interesting than new Apple devices.
